I was there from 6/23-6/26 for my daughters graduation. Got there little early, the front desk clerk was very nice. I couldn't check in but she check for my name and everythink checked out. I called back 2 hours later room was ready. Got back hotel key's were ready. I must say at first I went in kind of negitive, due to the area. But, when I got to the room I was quiet pleased. Yes, I would stay there again. The parking lot great for cars not for pick-up trucks, but it was ok. The staff was very nice. Thank you.

I reserved five rooms and put about 10 guests in this hotel, and this happened to be the worst experience I ever had making hotels reservation. I was lucky to find only one front desk staff who understood customer relations. One of the staff was so rude and dishonest and I was concerned about how and where individuals gets trained for positions like customer service again. Lack of courtesy and lack of readiness to take responsibilities for anything is commonplace here. From the moment you walk in, the stench is horrible, even the non-smoking rooms have some kind of odors. It is very normal to make a reservation, a case in point that happened here: you are given a room overlooking the lobby, you ask nicely that the room be changed, and the front desk staff comes down with an attitude and downgrade you to a lower room, and then promise to upgrade you the next day; and the next day; the new front desk staff on duty tells you; he cannot take responsibilities for the promise to upgrade you to the kind of room you reserved in the first place, even though he sees on the computer what you paid for. If you will take my advice; pay a little more money and get a real stay at a real hotel. This one here is not!

Stayed there for five days. The room was clean - small but okay for a one person. Breakfast bar opening at 6:00 a.m was perfect. It close to JFK and convenient. Hotel staff was pleasant. Had no issues during my stay. Would certainly stay there again.

Definately not impressive but very cost effective. It is positioned next to 2 other hotels sharing the same parking lot. Not much of any view and the area at first impression looks run down and viewing a school bus lot. BUT! very quite and security cameras all over. The rooms are all the same for the most part and a bit tight if you bring more than 3 large luggages. Microwave and fridge are available for rent. We stayed for 5 days and it put us in a great position with about a 30-40 minute train ride to the city and a 30-40 minute ride to the beaches and most of the rest of Long Island by car. I would definately stay again as the savings and location greatly made up for the lack of space by comparison to some other places we have stayed. But once again it is New York and we spent very little time in the room so why break the bank on a room you'll only be in to sleep. The location is great. Enterprise is not too far away and you are only minutes from the airport. Which i find to be great that way you dont have to fight all the traffic after a long plane flight or trying to leave.

For a JFK hotel with free shuttle, you can't beat the price. But you also get what you pay for. The hotel was small and cramped, the rooms are small and cramped; which can be a plus if your goal is not to sit in the room and watch HBO all day41;. Don't count on anything fancy with the continental breakfast. I was at least hoping for those awesome waffle making machines, but no. The only thing worth eating was some apples, orange and apple juice, coffee; and because the economy is bad...no Splenda;, and toast. You can have some donuts and mini-muffins, but I wouldn't recommend it. But again, it is a good hotel for a stopover. My wife and I only stayed one night so that we could catch a train to the bus stop in the morning (catch the free shuttle back to JFK and take the train from there;. And this hotel fit the bill nicely for that. Hotel staff was friendly enough, the hallways weren't noisy with guests but it was a slow day;, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and adequate, but the A/C was mildewy. I would not recomment this hotel for a long stay, but for stopovers, its more than enough. I would stay here again just for that, because of the shuttles, the cost, and location.
